Quang Ninh accelerates promotion efforts to capture international markets

In recent times, Quang Ninh has affirmed its
attraction to tourists through a series of attractive
cultural, sports and tourism programs and events. To
increase the competitiveness of destinations, stimulate
demand and attract tourists, a series of promotion
programs and tourism promotion strategies are being
implemented in a focused and key manner.
From November 20-23, the event "Vietnam Travel Day 2025"
will be held for the first time in Quang Ninh province.
This is considered one of the largest and most important
trade promotion activities (B2B) of the Vietnamese
tourism industry in general and Quang Ninh in
particular, creating strong growth momentum for the peak
season at the end of the year. The event attracted about
520 domestic and foreign tourism units to Quang Ninh. Of
which, there were about 120 international buyers, which
are large travel businesses from key and strategic
tourism markets of Vietnam, including: Korea, China,
Japan, Taiwan, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia,
Singapore, Thailand and many other countries.
Not only organizing promotional events, since the
beginning of the year, the province has worked with
hundreds of businesses and localities to promote
tourism. Last August, the province updated information
and directly introduced the latest tourism products and
services to tourism businesses in Hanoi. At the same
time, promoting and promoting tourism with a number of
trade union organizations of large economic groups:
Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group; Vietnam
Electricity; Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries
Group.

Union, highly appreciated the synchronous tourism
infrastructure, especially the convenient transportation
from Hanoi to Quang Ninh, suitable for organizing union
welfare programs at the end of the year. In addition,
the Group also brought many delegations, organized
year-end programs and events in Quang Ninh. With the
initiative of the government and businesses of Quang
Ninh province, There will be more coordination programs,
bringing the Group's officers and employees to Quang
Ninh.
At the end of October, the working delegation of Quang
Ninh province continued to work with the Da Nang Tourism
Association, met with more than 20 travel agencies of Da
Nang, and at the same time, visited, connected and
exchanged directly with a number of large travel
agencies with a large and diverse source of customers to
promote and introduce the potential, strengths,
destinations and tourism products of Quang Ninh.
There are many new and unique tourism products, such as:
Journey to 2 heritages Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu; live show
"Finding the pearl" at Ngoc Rong cave, Cam Pha ward;
fireworks and water music show at Bai Chay ward... In
addition, there are also 5-star cruise experience tours,
high-class island resorts, health care tourism programs,
golf tourism... In particular, at the working sessions,
the delegation introduced the stimulus campaign "Quang
Ninh - Experience Heritage, Connect the World" with a
series of attractive combo incentives and a series of
grand cultural, sports and tourism events held from now
until the first quarter of 2026.
The working group also actively worked with local
authorities, travel agencies, and airlines to promote
and quickly reopen flights from Quang Ninh to Da Nang,
thereby connecting the two markets, opening up a diverse
and convenient tourism space for domestic and
international tourists.
Also during this time, the province participated in the
working delegation of the Vietnam Cinema Promotion
Association to attend the 38th Tokyo International Film
Festival (TIFF) in Japan, and at the same time
implemented a series of cinema promotion activities to
promote the image of the country, people and potential
of Vietnamese cinema to international friends.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and
Tourism, this is an opportunity for Quang Ninh to expand
cooperation with Japan and international partners,
enhance cultural exchanges, exchange experiences in
organizing events, producing films, exploiting tourism
associated with heritage, and at the same time promote
attracting tourists from the key market of Japan,
contributing to increasing the number of international
visitors to Quang Ninh in the following years. The event
also creates opportunities to connect, approach
partners, seek cooperation in film production and
tourism services, thereby bringing practical benefits to
the local economy.
Quang Ninh Tourism Industry is making efforts to exploit
key international tourist markets, with focused
promotion programs. Last July, the province organized a
promotion program in Korea with the main message "One
destination - Two heritages", the event "Shape of Quang
Ninh". Within the framework of the program, business
connection activities (B2B) took place enthusiastically,
with the participation of more than 200 travel
companies, units organizing to bring Korean tourists to
travel abroad, along with many typical tourism -
accommodation businesses of Quang Ninh, opening up many
opportunities for substantive cooperation, from building
package tours to developing specialized products
exclusively for Korean tourists.
With substantial innovation, focusing on specific
content in tourism promotion with travel agencies, units
working directly with tourists will be one of the
important solutions for Quang Ninh tourism to strive to
exceed 20 million visitors and contribute to the
province's economic growth in 2025 and the following
years.
